I'm a graphic designer with a focus on building brands.
I know what you're thinking, "That sounds super impressive Chris, but what does it mean?"
Well friend, graphic design is all about branding, and business strategy is completely intertwined with brand strategy. A lot of people think BRAND = LOGO, but that's not the case. Your brand is what people think about you, how they perceive you, their gut feeling about you or your business.
You can influence how someone feels about your brand/business by having a defined focus, and sending out a consistent message about the value you can provide in a way that fits your company's mission and ideals.
That is a message I can help you craft.
I primarily work with start-ups or companies with a start-up culture looking to clarify (or create) their brand strategy across various touchpoints including: websites, marketing materials, video, or just about any other project.
I pride myself in not being a pain in the ass to work with. I take my work seriously, but it can be fun too.
When we first meet, I'm there to learn about your company and the challenges you have. So, I'm going to ask a lot of questions, we'll have a casual conversation, and we'll likely begin to develop some strategies to solve the challenges your company may be having. At the end of our first meeting I'll slide you a note that says "Do you like me?" and if you circle "yes" we'll get to work!
Seriously though, let's grab a coffee and talk.
The thing about Brand Strategy is that you are creating one even when you are not trying to. If you have no defined strategy in place, then you are likely putting an unfocused message out into the world, and that lack of focus becomes your brand. In this post see a real life example of how one person defined their brand strategy and work through your own at the same time.Read More
